I'll start this off I guess

I've been playing with and racing RC's for like 27-29 years now and the first 25-27 years was electric.
I had 1 of about everything that came out at one time or another and loved it.
Back then you couldnt have given me a nitro I would have sold it for electric parts i had a couple I sold.
I havnt raced in years but have always had RC's
The last few years have been spent on nitro.
A HPI nitro rush started it, its the rush's fault. I fell in love with that ST instantly. It ran flawlessly, was quick and so easy to tune. I ended up owning 2 Great truck to get you into nitro.

Then a Kyosho Nitro Rampage vintage this truck i snubbed way back when they were new because my Kyosho Ultima aluminum chassis version could keep up with it back in the day. I found the now vintage Nitro rampage to be a fun, easy to tune, quick, very nimble truck even for a 20 year old ST but nowhere near as fast as the Rush.

Then came the Nitro rusty Woooooo Haaaaa i loved it was just as nimble as the rampage and as fast as the rush ohhhhh yaaaa i loaded it with aluminum and beat the snots out of it and it took everything I dished out.

Ok now its been 2 years no more rush's, no more rampage, no more rustler.

And then I finally got what i had been drooling over since I got the first nitro nasal burn lol

Two T-MAXX's BABY ohhhhhhhhhhh yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Cool post. Thanks.

I prefer nitro, but brushless is making me drool everyday.

Brushless is cool but something about the whine of an electric bugs me now lol

well, i started off with electrics about 21 years ago. i was 10 and my older brother bought a midnight pumpkin. it was so fast (then) i couldn't believe it. i played with it all the time for a couple years. then i sorta lost interest until about 3 years ago. i got a blackfoot extreme and drove it awhile but it just didn't seem as fast as i remembered the pumpkin being. so i started looking around e bay and bought a well used nitro sport with a hitec radio system for 51.00. after driving nitro for a few years now my electrics don't see much action. i am dying to own a brushless electric with some lipo's. seems like it would be the best of both worlds. insane speed, longer runtimes, without all the mess and maintenance of nitro.
