Default rusty small problem need some help


ok i want to mod my rusty body posts but cant figure it out i did the front ones fine but want to do the back one 2 not sure if in the rear to do 1 or 2 post (leaning towards 2) but i got pics just plz someone tell me where and how i should go about doing this!!!! first pic shows the front ones and the rest are just kind of around the rear mount thing o yea shock tower so if u got ideas plz share cause on this one im stuck

why do you need to remount it just relocate ur esc

no i have a body that i want to mount but is more like for a t max it fits the big front ones fine bot i cant figure out how to attach the 2 back ones they are identical to the front ones on it

go to tower and search parma for body mounts they have tons of universal ones

mine are un iversale u got a rusty how would you put longer post on the back shock tower just take a look at it there is like no way i can think of????? i alread bought the post i just need ideas on how to mount them

Well what i would do is use longer screws on your shocks and mount the posts on them using hollow balls in the shocks, so you can tighten them up really good.

Also you can fabricate a mount for the posts using ABS plastic and a dremel tool, and bolt it to the shock tower in the holes already there. Sense i don't know what your posts look like or how far apart you want them I'm afrade i cant be much more helpful.

This seems like more work than its worth... Just looking at the front mounts.. They look very flimzy... The maxx shell is quite a bit bigger that the rustler... I have both... If you insist on using the maxx shell... If the center isn't cut out already.. just make a hole in the rear and use 3 posts... I do this with some of my nitro's and it works very well... Post a pic of the shell you are using so we can get an idea where you are comming from...

ok well thx goes to one85_db and everey one that helped i used 1/4 of abs tube and a hax saw and went to town and came up eith this in just about 1/2 hour tell me wat you think
