Default Good bash motor for ST

I'm looking to upgrade the brushed motor in my rustler. I recently got my hands on a novak ESC with a no turn limit (see my post in the electronics section for type), as stated in previous threads this truck is going to be a basher, I've even scoped out a spot to run it on a regular basis. My "spot" has 1 medium dirt hill with a steep bank on one side and a gradual slope on another, there's also an area with a dip like depression that rises then dips before switching to another steep sloped "launch platform the rest is flat yard, gravel parking lot, with a large hill surounding the area, and a steep banked ditch dividing the property from the neighbors.

I don't have the money for a BL set up, and won't for quite some time (got to get an appartment first) so I'd like some input on a brushed motor, with a good mix of speed and torque for my bashing needs. Thanks for any input.

http://www.venom-racing.com/products...fied/index.htm

Ran the absolute hell out of it with no problems.

If you want to go lower turn,

If you want a lower turn but cheaper,

Get what you pay for imo.

How much torque does a 6t have??? It's fewer turns more RPMs and more turns more torque right??? I do like speed though, it's why I was a crack addict LOL

no the turn rateing is just for rpm's the torgue is the wind rateing. 1 wind is high 2 is midlle 3 is low and 4 is allmost none.

bingo. For superstock (aka 19 turn) I use the chamleleon 2 pro. It has 19x2 wich is two wind because 19x1 has too much torgue and can make me loose grip at the track.

I just bought a 19t single trinity D5 flatliner, you know anything about this motor??? I looked on trinitys' web site but no luck I know it's a trinity cause it was still in its package and has its' sticker on the can when I got it from the LHS. It's both rebuildable and timeable I'd like to get the most of this motor but also want a faster one to boot I mean with a no turn limit ESC why limit my options???

Plus what little knowlage I have of motors in general are all of 1/18th scale motors they don't get into singlel or double winds. Turns yes but winds nope it was just somthing I heard about here and there but now it applyes to my application.

Since it has adjustable timeing you will have no problems with it just gear it high on the spur by a few teeth.

Yea rebuilding it will be a trick though. I guess I'll just score the can so I get the hood lined back up. That or it'll run backwards when I put the hood back on it. I did that with a cobalt18 14t motor I had in a mini t
