I think I can add to this one a bit. Here in Baghdad we race monster trucks on Sundays. We run about 6 to 8 Emaxx and 2 E-Savages. Emaxx always makes the podium. Every body makes Hop-Ups for the Emaxx, not so much for the E-Savage. Traxxas made Emaxx and T-Maxx parts interchangeable, but HPI did not between there Nitro and electric version. Do not get me wrong the E-Savage is a great truck and it will all come down to the personal preference, but you can get more shinny stuff for the E-Maxx.
