The CX comes with a 2 cell lipo, the charger, transmitter (now the CX2 comes with a Spektrum system!), all for something like $189.

is the charger any good? how long does it take to charge the li-po?

Its a wall charger designed for the lipo that comes with the heli. It takes around 45 min to an hour to charge a pack, and I get 10-15 minutes of flight time depending on what I am doing. I have 2 packs, the heli comes with 1, but an extra is only about $25.

All in all it is a great kit. Excellent value in my opinion.

Cool, ever flown air plains?

I'm wanting to get a ducted fan plain like the Phase 3 Fantom.

I was watching the airplanes on inside rc with the ducted fans. they are crazy fast like cruising speed 200mph.

Yeah Crazy fast and E-Z to fly. Most only require a 3 channel radio.
